Solar Data & Research Intern
Interns will gain valuable real-world experience and contribute to our understanding of the country’s rapid transition to clean energy. They will apply their data science and research skills to complete a key project for Generation 180’s Solar Schools campaign by playing a leading role in completing a nationwide census of all K-12 schools in the country with solar. They will be learning the methodology designed by solar industry experts to update the previous census included in Brighter Future: A Study on Solar in U.S. Schools, Second Edition (November 2017). Generation 180 is hiring 3 interns to help complete the project in fall 2019. The hourly wage is $15/hour. Generation 180 is seeking dynamic undergraduate-level interns from a wide range of disciplines to support the Solar Schools team.
Senior Fellows are experienced professionals from academia, nonprofit, and/or business who are invited by Gen180 to help shape or contribute to the programming and outcomes of Gen180. At least fifteen years of professional experience is required for consideration as a Senior Fellow in a subject area of interest to Gen180, including energy, sustainability, social psychology, video and graphic design, and marketing and communications.
Senior Fellows will spend at least 4-8 hours a week working on independent projects or with the staff.
