Our Action Teams engage in high-visibility, community-level projects that advance clean energy and spread Energy Awareness throughout their communities.
Action Teams are currently focused on helping local K-12 schools go solar. Equipped with the resources from Generation 180's Solar Schools campaign, Action Teams are influencing school district leaders and rallying community support for solar.
Solar schools can leverage onsite technology to engage and educate students about clean energy and model to the rest of the community the benefits of going solar.
While thousands of schools across the country are saving money on electric bills, educating students about clean energy, and ensuring a brighter future for the next generation by going solar, there are over one hundred thousand more that could be taking advantage of these same benefits.
Campaign Director, Keep It Cool
Generation 180 will be kicking off its Keep It Cool campaign and training volunteer teams on how to get involved. The Keep It Cool campaign empowers people to encourage retailers to stop the energy waste caused by storefront doors staying open while the air conditioning is running on hot summer days. Learn how you can help by tagging local stores, distributing flyers, writing letters to your local media and promoting the campaign in your community.
