  • City and County of Denver District Energy Conversion Incentive: The Denver Department of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency provides funding to transition to zero-emission thermal energy systems. These systems can be ground-source, water-source, or multi-source systems. They will provide space/water heating and cooling in homes, businesses, and communities.   • Energy Impact Assistance Fund Grant Program: The Department of Local Affairs Energy Impact Assistance Fund Grant Program assists communities that are socially and/or economically impacted by the development, processing, or energy conversion of minerals and mineral fuels. The intent of this grant program is to promote sustainable community development, increase livability and resilience of communities through strategic investments in asset-building activities.   • Colorado K-12 Schools Program: The Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency for Schools (REEES) program provides school districts with loans for renewable energy projects and energy efficiency projects if unable to secure private sector financing.   • ReNew Our Schools: The Renew Our Schools (RNOS) program is a 5-week student-centered energy conservation & awareness competition in which schools within a participating district compete to win cash prizes that can be put toward energy retrofits. READ MORE →
  • Grid Alternatives Colorado: GRID Alternatives Colorado installs rooftop, community, and multifamily solar electric systems for income-qualified households and affordable housing providers throughout the state, providing families with needed savings and training Colorado workers for jobs in the growing solar industry.  READ MORE →
  • Solar in the Schools Colorado Program: Solar Energy International's Solar In the Schools (SIS) teaches about the different types of renewable energy, basic electricity, and solar photovoltaics using online curriculum and in-person experiential learning for K-12. Our goal is to encourage youth to develop a deeper consideration of the systems that deliver us power, and to compel teachers to skillfully incorporate renewable energy into their lessons.
