Generation 180 is forming teams of volunteers in communities throughout the country. We are looking for passionate people to get involved in creating a team that will advance clean energy and spread energy awareness in their communities. Generation 180 empowers volunteer teams to be effective in their communities with training and ongoing support.

Learn About Action Teams

Join our Monthly National Team Meeting
Sit in on our next national web-conference to get a
first-hand look at the work of Generation 180.
During the meeting, team members learn from a guest speaker with clean energy expertise, share grassroots successes and challenges, gain advocacy skills, and take action together. Attendees will not be on screen, but will have the opportunity to ask questions and view slides. Phone only access is also available.

Our volunteer teams engage in high-visibility, community-level projects that advance clean energy and spread Energy Awareness throughout their communities.

Generation 180 teams are currently focused on helping local K-12 schools go solar.  Equipped with the resources from Generation 180's Solar Schools campaignvolunteer teams are influencing  school district leaders and rallying community support for solar.

Solar schools can leverage onsite technology to engage and educate students about clean energy and model to the rest of the community the beneftis of going solar.

While thousands of schools across the country are saving money on electric bills, educating students about clean energy, and ensuring a brighter future for the next generation by going solar, there are over one hundred thousand more that could be taking advantage of these same benefits.

Develop New Action Teams

We are launching new volunteer Action Teams in select cities across the country. Join Generation 180 and members of your community in a live web conference to learn about the new teams that we are forming in your area.

These community-based web conferences will provide insight into what is involved in getting a new team off the ground and will offer unique leadership opportunities for participants.
